  • Ernest "Bubba" Beasley

    Geologist / Founder and CEO

    A self-described lifelong learner, Bubba is a Founder who is committed to personal growth and serving others. He has spent the last eleven years working to shape HydroGeo into what it is today, and is currently most passionate about facilitating his team members’ personal and professional growth.

    With a BS in Geology from James Madison University and an MS in Geology from the University of Georgia, Bubba brings over 20 years of experience to every project, combining technical expertise with a personal understanding of his clients’ needs. As part of the last generation of geologists trained on paper maps and the first generation of Americans to have internet in the home, he brings the perfect blend of old school geologic methods and cutting edge technology.

    His internationally recognized work in vineyard soils and recent appointment to the Virginia Board for Professional Soil Scientists, Wetland Professionals, and Geologists, underscore his leadership in the field. Outside of work, he enjoys playing music, fishing, hiking and cooking. He lives in Charlottesville with his wife, Elizabeth, and their four daughters.

  • Ashley Borrelli

    Administrative and Marketing Coordinator

    Ashley, an Albemarle County Native, recently joined the HydroGeo team, bringing with her a diverse background in office management and a proven track record in executive support. Her love for the outdoors, combined with an upbringing in a family-run construction and excavation business, has given her a strong foundation in our industry. She brings an unwavering commitment to our fast-growing company and ensure our leaders’ success. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ashley is a devoted wife and mother who enjoys spending time on the family’s farm in Free Union.

  • Kathryn Bryant

    Geologist / Project Manager

    Kathryn, a Virginia Certified Professional Geologist, has been an integral part of HydroGeo for nearly a decade. Based in Louisa, she shares her home with her daughter, dog, and three cats. An alumna of James Madison University ('14) and a proud GeoDuke, Kathryn is dedicated to expanding her expertise in the diverse and intricate geology of Virginia and beyond. She takes great pride in contributing to HydroGeo's impressive growth and enjoys the wide range of projects that her role has afforded her.

  • Anthony Sapino

    Environmental Scientist / Field Tech.

    Anthony has been a dedicated member of the HydroGeo team for just over a year, where he has channeled his passion for environmental protection. He earned his BS in Environmental Science from Appalachian State University (’23), equipping him with the knowledge and skills to make him an integral part of our team. Anthony enjoys conducting geophysical surveys and appreciates the chance to explore unique locations. Growing up in Crozet, he developed his love for the outdoors through fishing and hiking— which led to his strong commitment to protecting nature. He now lives in his hometown with his girlfriend and their beloved dog, Nala.

  • Ethan Pambianchi

    Geologist / Field Tech.

    Another proud JMU Duke (’22) — Ethan earned his BS in Geology, with a concentration in environmental engineering. He has been a valued member of the HydroGeo team for two years and is dedicated to his work on geophysical surveys and terroir mapping.

    Growing up in Albemarle County, he developed a love for the outdoors and a fascination with natural earth processes. Ethan's commitment to understanding the environment and its complexities continues to shape his work at HydroGeo.
